A Guide to the Geology of Colonsay

This guide is a companion volume to the Guide to the Geology of Islay, first published in 2015, which described 12 geological excursions on Islay. It describes five excursions on Colonsay that tell the fascinating story of its geological past from 2 billion-year-old gneisses to the Ice Age. The geology of each excursion is described at an introductory level with maps and photographs, and they range from leisurely rambles to more demanding longer walks.
